Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking an entry-level trainee to learn the mechanics of fire alarm system installation. You will assist with routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance under direct supervision and support diagnostics and troubleshooting as needed.

You may install and test systems under close guidance of a Fire Alarm Technician, receiving day-to-day guidance from a Fire Alarm Technician.

Qualifications

• Electrical skills from construction or related training are a plus.
• Ability to follow verbal work instructions.
• Capable of independent work with moderate supervision.
• Ability to work in a team under time pressure.
• Demonstrate initiative to learn skills of the trade.
• Able to read labels/directions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems under direct supervision.
• Support diagnosis, evaluation, and servicing; troubleshoot issues during inspections under direct supervision.
