Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning a technical trade.
• Ability to take direction, ask questions, and follow through without constant supervision.
• Comfort working at heights and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Interest in construction or life safety trades.
• Basic experience using hand tools and reading drawings/blueprints a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of Journeyman technicians on active job sites.
• Help lay out, assemble, install, test, inspect, maintain, and service fire alarm systems.
• Learn troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems per NFPA standards.
• Document work performed and communicate observations.
• Interact with customers, contractors, and team members professionally.
