Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC in Mobile, AL is seeking an entry-level trainee to learn the mechanics of fire alarm system installation. You will assist with routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance under direct supervision.

You will support diagnosis and evaluation of systems that require servicing, as well as troubleshooting issues that arise during inspections under direct supervision. Under the guidance of a Fire Alarm Technician, you may install and test fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or similar field with demonstrated electrical skills or related training.
• Ability to follow verbal work instructions.
• Capable of working independently with moderate supervision.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems under direct supervision.
• Support diagnosis and evaluation of systems requiring servicing and troubleshooting issues during inspections.
• May install and test fire alarm systems under the close guidance of a Fire Alarm Technician.
