Job summary

Everon in Fort Worth, TX, is hiring a field technician to conduct routine tests and inspections of fire alarm systems, fire safety systems, and fire sprinkler lines, documenting deficiencies per prescribed processes.

You will verify proper operation, prepare timely reports, and interface with service management and customers to explain work performed. The role requires on-call availability, travel, and strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School/Vocational training.
• Experience inspecting fire alarm products, wet and dry fire sprinkler systems or related industry experience.
• Proficient in using personal computers.
• Familiarity with fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret English-language blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine tests and inspections, document deficiencies of fire alarm, fire safety, and sprinkler systems per prescribed processes.
• Verify proper operation; prepare accurate and timely documentation of work performed.
• Prepare inspection/ deficiency reports for submission to management.
• Interface with service management to ensure all work is scheduled/handled.
• Interface with customers to explain work performed and answer questions.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively; ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and organize truck inventory (parts and tools) to respond to customer needs.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures; maintain a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
