Job summary

Sobieski Life Safety, a division of Newark, DE, is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Inspector to join our team. You will test and inspect fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with fire code requirements for commercial buildings, maintaining accurate paperwork and reports.

We require NICET II certification in testing and inspection, 2+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with NFPA codes, OSHA safety standards, and MS Office applications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Fire Alarm & Fire Sprinkler experience.
• NICET II certification in testing and inspection of fire sprinkler systems.
• Proficiency with NFPA 25, 72 & 13 electrical codes, OSHA requirements and safety procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with fire code requirements for commercial buildings.
• Test and inspect fire sprinkler systems and maintain accurate paperwork and reports.
• Support field operations and communicate findings to customers and team.
