Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC seeks a Fire Alarm Service Technician to service and program fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with codes and safety policies. You will work with a team to test, commission, and troubleshoot life safety systems across various sites.

The role requires 3–5 years’ experience, NICET II certification, and an aptitude for electrical and mechanical work. Travel and a valid driver’s license are expected, with competitive pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as a fire alarm service technician.
• Experience programming EST 3 or EST 4 (Edwards) fire alarm systems or similar complexity.
• NICET II Certification in Fire Alarm.
• Associates degree in Electronic technology or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the testing, programming and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Assist in the servicing of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programming of Fire Alarm Systems, schematics and manuals.
• Execute all work in accordance with local and national codes and safety policies.
