Network Mountain LLC is seeking a mid-level Fire Alarm Service Tech to join a growing field team in the New England area. The role focuses on servicing, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and maintaining commercial fire alarm systems while developing advanced skills and taking on increased responsibility.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with commercial fire alarm systems, can read drawings and wiring diagrams, and is comfortable working independently while pursuing further

Formación

  • 3+ years of commercial fire alarm service experience.
  • Ability to read fire alarm drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience troubleshooting and servicing Notifier, Fire-Lite, Potter systems.
  • Willingness to travel across MA, NH, and VT and obtain NH/MA licenses.

Responsabilidades

  • Service, troubleshoot, test, and repair commercial fire alarm systems.
  • Diagnose system faults, wiring issues, device failures, and communication problems.
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and service fire alarm panels, devices, modules, notification appliances, power supplies, and related equipment.
  • Perform system modifications, additions, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Read and interpret fire alarm drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend corrective action.
  • Assist with system startup, commissioning, inspections, and troubleshooting.
  • Document service work, system changes, deficiencies, and materials used.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and other technicians.

We are looking for a Fire Alarm Service Tech to join a growing team. This is a mid level field position focused on servicing, troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and maintaining commercial fire alarm systems.

The ideal candidate has hands on commercial fire alarm service experience, can troubleshoot systems in the field, read drawings and wiring diagrams, and is comfortable working independently while continuing to develop their technical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Service, troubleshoot, test, and repair commercial fire alarm systems

  • Diagnose system faults, wiring issues, device failures, and communication problems

  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance

  • Troubleshoot and service fire alarm panels, devices, modules, notification appliances, power supplies, and related equipment

  • Perform system modifications, additions, upgrades, and repairs

  • Read and interpret fire alarm drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation

  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective action

  • Assist with system startup, commissioning, inspections, and troubleshooting

  • Perform service calls and respond to customer issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Document service work, system changes, deficiencies, and materials used

  • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and other technicians

  • Work safely and maintain a professional jobsite

  • Support senior technicians with complex troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning as needed

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of commercial fire alarm service experience preferred

  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and servicing commercial fire alarm systems

  • Experience with Notifier, Fire-Lite, Potter, or comparable commercial fire alarm systems preferred

  • Ability to diagnose basic to intermediate fire alarm system issues

  • Ability to read and understand fire alarm drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation

  • Strong understanding of fire alarm devices, circuits, power supplies, and system components

  • Experience performing inspections, testing, repairs, and system modifications

  • Comfortable working independently while knowing when to involve senior technical support

  • Professional communication and customer service skills

  • Willingness to continue developing programming, commissioning, and advanced troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont

  • Massachusetts Class D license preferred

  • Candidates currently working toward a Massachusetts Class D license will also be considered
