Job summary

Silco Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician in Dayton, OH. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems, including panels and devices, while maintaining compliance with NFPA standards and Silco procedures.

You’ll respond to service calls, document deficiencies, and support inspection activities to ensure accurate reporting. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, an Ohio Sprinkler Inspection License or NICET II, and 3+ years in fire

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler inspection, testing, service, or repair.
• Ohio Sprinkler Inspection License or NICET II required.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13, 25, and 72 as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems, including panels, initiating devices, notification devices, and wiring.
• Respond to service calls with urgency and professionalism.
• Document deficiencies and communicate next steps to customers.
• Complete service tickets and inspection reports in company systems.
• Assist inspectors with fire alarm testing and inspections per NFPA 72 and Silco procedures.
• Maintain on-site communication with customers about issue, repairs, and next steps.
