Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical knowledge or low voltage.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect & test fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, and notification devices, ensuring NFPA compliance.
• Maintain and repair fire alarm and sprinkler systems; replace components and adjust for optimal operation.
• Complete inspection reports and maintain records of inspections, tests, maintenance, and repairs.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills in fire protection systems.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure all work complies with fire safety codes and industry standards.
