Job summary

Silco Fire & Security is seeking a dependable Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to support maintenance and repair operations in Dayton, OH. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to keep customer systems safe and code compliant.

The technician will assist with inspections per NFPA 25 and contribute to accurate reporting while following SOP-driven workflows and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of fire sprinkler inspection, testing, service, or repair.
• Ohio Sprinkler Inspection License or NICET II.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13, 25, and 72.
• Ability to read system drawings and reports.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems.
• Perform service such as leak repairs and head replacements.
• Respond to service calls with urgency and professionalism.
• Document deficiencies and communicate next steps to customers.
• Complete service tickets and deficiency reports accurately.
• Assist inspectors with NFPA 25 testing and maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of fire protection codes and requirements.
