Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician in Gainesville, FL to troubleshoot, repair, and program Life Safety systems on-site. The role requires diagnosing faults in conventional, addressable, and networked systems, and ensuring reliable alarm coverage.

Travel within a 100-mile radius is expected, with teamwork and strong communication skills essential. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in fire alarm service (NICET preferred), familiarity with Siemens/Notifier

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of Fire Alarm Service experience required.
• NICET certification preferred; two years may be considered with NICET equivalent.
• Experience with fire alarm systems such as Siemens or Notifier is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Fire and Life Safety systems within defined service radius.
• Program systems via laptop and ensure circuit integrity.
• Generate repair reports for customer acceptance and billing information.
• Provide guidance and support to other technicians and customers.
