Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, program, test, and troubleshoot a wide range of fire alarm systems across customer sites. The role offers field-based autonomy, strong problem-solving opportunities, and ongoing collaboration with customers, contractors, and internal teams.

You will follow NFPA 72 standards, maintain documentation, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with technical experience preferred.
• Valid electrical license per state requirements and a valid driver’s license.
• Three+ years of fire alarm inspection/service experience is preferred, NICET certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and corrective repairs per NFPA 72 and standards.
• Identify deficiencies and provide clear recommendations for improvements.
• Respond to emergency calls, including nights, weekends, and on-call.
