Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, test, program, service, and troubleshoot a wide range of fire alarm systems across on-site assignments. You will collaborate with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure systems are compliant, reliable, and ready when it matters most.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; electrical license preferred.
• NICET certification in water-based systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Service, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs per NFPA 72 and standards.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend clear improvements.
• Respond to emergency calls, including nights and weekends.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely service.
• Document service activities and parts used.
• Maintain clear customer communication on status and next steps.
• Uphold safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on every job site.
