Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Service Supervisor to join a dynamic team in delivering world-class service and growing with the company. The role may be field- or office-based and focuses on supervising personnel, managing service delivery, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The position offers compensation in the range of $40–$46 per hour, with a strong emphasis on leadership, project execution, and financial oversight within the local market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fire alarm field service experience.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team.
• Experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, or healthcare industries.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Field Specialists, Service Specialists, Service Coordinators, and Inspectors in service delivery.
• Maximize customer satisfaction by executing CSPs, time & material, parts sales and other service duties.
• Manage resources, costs, safety, quality assurance and customer satisfaction for service delivery and expansion.

What you’ll do

• Responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by effectively executing all Convergint Technologies commitments on Customer Service Programs (CSPs), time and material, parts sales and other service duties.
• This is a line position that is either field- or office-based and is responsible for the effective management of resources, costs, safety, quality assurance and customer satisfaction for the delivery and expansion of the existing service base.
• Supervise Field Specialists, Service Specialists, Service Coordinators, and/or Inspectors in all aspects of service delivery.
• The financial impact is measured in the growth and delivery of Service products in the local CTC market.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Leadership Orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model - guide, develop and mentor others within the department.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control (e.g. gross margin calculations).
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.
• Developing project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).

Requirements

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of fire alarm field service experience
• Exposure to leading or supervising a small team
• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare

Preferred Experience:

• EST Certified
