Job summary

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic Service Supervisor to join our amazing culture in Austin, TX. This role supports both field and office work, focusing on delivering world-class service and maintaining customer satisfaction.

You will supervise Service teams, manage resources, and drive quality and cost efficiency while growing the service base. A background in building automation or life-safety systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Leadership orientation; mentor others within department.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Developing project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, and/or electronic security).

Responsibilities

• Supervise Field Specialists, Service Specialists, Coordinators, and Inspectors.
• Maximize customer satisfaction by executing CSPs, time/materials, parts sales and service duties.
• Manage resources, costs, safety, quality assurance and customer satisfaction for service delivery and expansion.
• Monitor financial impact through growth and delivery of service products in the local market.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by effectively executing all Convergint Technologies commitments on Customer Service Programs (CSPs), time and material, parts sales and other service duties.
• This is a line position that is either field- or office-based and is responsible for the effective management of resources, costs, safety, quality assurance and customer satisfaction for the delivery and expansion of the existing service base.
• Supervise Field Specialists, Service Specialists, Service Coordinators, and/or Inspectors in all aspects of service delivery.
• The financial impact is measured in the growth and delivery of Service products in the local CTC market.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Leadership Orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model - guide, develop and mentor others within the department.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control (e.g. gross margin calculations).
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.
• Developing project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

• 3-5 years of field service, project management or relevant engineering
• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare
