Viking Automatic Sprinkler Co. in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a skilled Fire Alarm and Security Systems Technician to service, repair and replace systems for established customers on a scheduled basis.

You will inspect, test and troubleshoot life-safety equipment and ensure compliance with codes and company standards. Strong communication with customers, a valid driver’s license, and NICET certification progression (I within 2 years, II within 4 years) are required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Fire Alarm / Security System Service and Installation knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of life safety, alarm panels, devices and critical components.
• Low voltage electronics experience.
• Identifying code and non-conformance issues.
• Proper communication skills dealing with customers.
• Valid driver's license.
• NICET I certification within 2 years.
• NICET II certification within 4 years.
• Willing to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Job Summary:

This position requires the ability to service, repair and replace fire alarm/ security system related products. The ability to inspect and test fire alarm /security system for established customers on a scheduled basis.

• Fire Alarm / Security System Service and Installation Knowledge
• Strong working knowledge of life safety, alarm panels, devices and critical components
• Low Voltage Electronics Experience

Pay Range:

$35 to $38 Per Hour: depends on your level of experience and education
