Job summary

Century Fire Protection LLC in Orlando–Sanford, FL is seeking a results-driven sales professional to generate new installation projects for fire alarm systems. You will estimate projects and secure monitoring/service contracts after installation, collaborating with electrical contractors and end users.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in fire alarm sales or related experience, with up to 25% travel. Strong MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop quality Fire Alarm clients aligned with growth strategy.
• Develop market-specific plans for growth and revenue.
• Maintain existing accounts and cross-sell multiple product offerings.
• Submit orders using price lists and literature.
• Provide reports: daily calls, weekly plans, and monthly territory analyses.
• Monitor pricing and products; report competitive developments.
• Estimate projects including fixed price services from $100k to $1MM+.
• Resolve customer complaints and prepare management reports.
• Oversee all projects within the portfolio.

Summary

Responsible for generating new installation projects for alarm systems through electrical contractors and end users, estimating project based on cost of labor, equipment, and materials; securing the monitoring/service contract following the installation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain quality clients within the Fire Alarm market that align with the growth strategy of the business.
• Develop, implement, and maintain market-specific business plans for growth.
• Service existing accounts to maximize service and account retention while cross-selling across multiple product offerings.
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Estimate projects including fixed price service as required for projects ranging from $100k-$1MM+.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
• Maintain oversight and responsibility for all projects within in the portfolio.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 3+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior fire alarm or low voltage sales experience is required.

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS Systems (prefer UltiPro).
