Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to oversee alarm system installation and service projects in the Orlando area. You will manage profitability, crew production, and project schedules to ensure on-time completion while guiding teams and coordinating with contractors and AHJs.

The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to resolve conflicts to maintain schedules and budgets on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5+ years related experience and/or training.
• NICET II or III Certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, crews, and costs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update weekly, 3-month, and 6-month project schedules with milestones.
• Hire and supervise field crews and coordinate schedules within budget.
• Coordinate material deliveries and monitor job-related costs.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and test dates; ensure compliance.
• Represent the company in meetings with GC, owner, AHJ, and authorities.
• Manage multiple projects and adapt to changing conditions to meet schedules.
• Attend project kickoff meetings and collaborate on specifications and change orders.
• Complete and maintain truck tool inventories.

Summary

Responsible for managing profitability and crew production on alarm system installation and service on projects as required to successfully complete the project on schedule. Provides guidance and resolves installation and service conflicts to maintain installation and service schedules, productivity, and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and update weekly, 3-month, and 6-month job schedules, tracking project schedules, including start date, end dates, test dates, and all other milestones.
• Hire and supervise field crews and coordinate schedules, managing labor hours and costs.
• Coordinate material deliveries, delivery and pick up of installation equipment, and monitor all job-related costs.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate inspections and test dates.
• Represent the company in meetings with general contractor, owner, property manager, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and regulatory agencies for project schedules, test dates, progress reports, change orders, or other information.
• Manage multiple projects and make recommendations in response to changing conditions to meet contract schedules.
• Attend project kick off meetings and work closely with Project Manager and design team on project specifications, billings, and change orders.
• Complete and maintain truck tool inventories.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma and 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. NICET II or III Certification a plus.

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
