IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is recruiting for a Fire Alarm Project Manager to lead data center fire alarm initiatives in Richmond, Virginia. You will oversee planning, submittals, procurement, installation, testing, and turnover, ensuring adherence to NFPA standards and AHJ requirements.

The role requires coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and authorities, with travel to project sites and extended field time as needed to deliver mission-critical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in fire alarm project management on mission-critical electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems including Fire Alarm, DAS, Access Control, and Building Management Systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of fire alarm installation including submittals, material procurement, installation oversight, coordination with testing agencies, and final turnover.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, electrical schematics, and NFPA references including NFPA 70, NFPA 72, NFPA 101.
• Experience coordinating with local inspectors and Authorities having jurisdiction.
• Proficient in construction documentation and scheduling tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or equivalent.
