Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee project management activities. The role involves coordinating teams, ensuring project profitability and quality, and interfacing with clients during projects. Candidates should have at least five years in a project management role, with knowledge of low voltage technology and fire alarms. Strong communication and organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to multitask are essential. Willingness to travel as needed is also required.

Qualifications

  • Five years of work experience in project management or a similar role strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with low voltage technology and fire alarm systems required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
  • Great organizational skills necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Customer service-focused approach and competitive spirit.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing scenarios required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Determine scope of work and validation, including client site visits.
  • Assist with layout drawings of equipment rooms and office setups.
  • Support Sales & Estimating teams in design and material specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate scheduling of technicians and subcontractors.
  • Manage purchasing and delivery of project materials.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide necessary training to field supervisors and technicians.
  • Interface with customers to ensure project-awareness.
  • Initiate and manage Change Orders with customers.
  • Provide documentation for project cycles and reports on progress.
  • Manage project cost, time budgets, and profitability.
  • Keep supervisors informed of project progress and issues.
