Job summary

RapidFire Safety & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of fire alarm installations and system upgrades for mid-size commercial projects in the Riverside area.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of NFPA 72, IBC and IFC codes, strong project management skills, and a proven ability to coordinate with electrical contractors, architects, and clients to ensure timely, compliant installations and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fire alarm installations for commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, IBC, and IFC codes.
• Proven ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage fire alarm installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with NFPA 72, IBC, and IFC and local requirements.
• Oversee the integration of fire alarm systems with building control systems and other systems.
• Collaborate with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project execution for mid-size commercial installations.
• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate design and installation.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, budgets, change orders, and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns.
• Mentor and guide project team members to foster collaboration and safety.
