Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions in Florida seeks an experienced Fire Systems Project Manager to oversee low voltage system projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate field operations, review drawings for code compliance, and interface with clients, contractors, and fire marshals to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in commercial fire detection/suppression and PM experience in the fire and security sector, with NICET II and NFPA 72 knowledge highly

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial fire detection and suppression systems.
• PM experience in fire and security industry.
• NICET II certification preferred.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Review drawings for conformance with regulations and project specs.
• Provide guidance to field operations and engineering teams.
• Manage project schedules and manpower forecasts.
• Interface with customers, contractors, end users, and fire marshals.
• Coordinate installations and commissioning for assigned projects.
• Perform field surveys and read blueprints.
• Estimate and propose change orders as needed.
• Provide monthly budget updates and manage job costs and margins.
• Lead and communicate effectively within a team environment.
