- Install, program, configure, commission, and service Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems including but not limited to; Simplex, IFC Fire, and other related building system products at customer sites.

How You Will Do It
- Execute projects on time and within allocated installation hours.
- Work with the project manager to resolve discrepancies and coordination problems that impair installation activities.
- Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals. Coordinate installation activities with all trades to optimize time. Attend site meetings.
- Instruct and train customers on equipment/system operation. Conduct simulations and answer questions.
- Exhibit excellent customer service by maintaining communication with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Complete project documentation promptly.
- Follow all OSHA and safety policies. Participate in scheduled On-call rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
What we look for
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Three (3) years experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, manuals, and submittals.
- Experience with hand tools, test equipment, multi-meters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.
- Ability to obtain and retain necessary licenses per codes.
- Physical ability to carry and move equipment up to 50-70 lbs.
- Ability to work in challenging positions (ladders, scaffolding, ducts, crawl spaces, ceilings).
- Flexible hours including weekends.

- Adherence to safety guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and quick learning ability.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background and drug tests.
- Occasional overnight travel.
Preferred
- NICET Level II certification.
