Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Fire Alarm Install & Service Supervisor in Texas. You will lead installation and service teams, coordinate daily field activities, and ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Travel to job sites as required and mentor staff to drive performance.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to codes, and effective collaboration with project managers and customers to deliver reliable life-safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in fire and life safety in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated leadership with full management accountability.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, codes, and installation practices.
• Fire Alarm License preferred; FEL, FEL-K, NICET a plus.
• Proficiency with common business software and field service apps.
• Ability to learn company-specific scheduling/reporting systems.
• Clean driving record and active driver's license if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide full management oversight of fire alarm installation & service teams.
• Direct and coordinate daily work activities of technicians and field staff.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure safety, on-time completion, and code compliance.
• Approve timecards, manage schedules, and allocate resources.
• Monitor performance, productivity, and quality across teams and projects.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, customers, and stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Coach and mentor employees; provide performance feedback.
• Review and maintain job documentation and system records.
• Utilize service management and inspection systems for scheduling and reporting.
• Provide field support as needed; travel to job sites.
