Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Pflugerville, TX seeks a Fire Alarm Construction Manager to oversee the Fire Alarm Department, ensuring compliance with Texas codes and regulations. You will lead a team, coordinate ERRCES, AOR and other projects, and manage daily installation operations from planning to execution.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, scheduling, budgeting, safety oversight, and communicating project status.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of supervision/management experience in fire alarm installation.
• Strong project management/Construction Management experience preferred.
• Estimating experience.
• Knowledge of P&L is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Windows operating system.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor technicians, order materials and equipment for these projects and monitor financials for each project.
• Training, team building, job management, district administration, and effective interaction with customers.
• Provide vision, leadership, and direction to the Fire Alarm Installation Department.
• Set and manage productivity and performance expectations for direct reports.
• Maintain loading schedules and labor forecasting.
• Ensure safety and industry training is current and documented for all technicians.
• Maintain schedule of installers and track hours assigned to projects.
• Provide accurate project status updates during WIP meetings.
• Conduct regular job site safety walkthroughs and EHS evaluations as well as accident investigations.
