Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm/LV Installer to join our Maryland team. You’ll install fire alarm, voice/data, and security systems, run 3‑phase power, install conduit, and troubleshoot.

You’ll also read blueprints and paperwork, maintain as‑built drawings, and ensure safety and quality on every site. The role requires 1–3 years of industry experience, ability to travel occasionally, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm/LV Installer.
• Solid working knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
• Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications.
• State and locally required minimum certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm, voice/data, and security.
• Install commercial & industrial 3‑phase electrical power systems.
• Install all types of electrical conduit.
• Troubleshoot circuit opens, shorts, or ground conditions.
• Complete paperwork, including timesheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
