Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking a Fire Alarm - Low Voltage Salesperson. This role focuses on promoting and selling integrated fire protection and security systems with commission-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in contract sales of fire alarm, electronic security, or related field, including management experience.
• Demonstrated sales ability with prospecting and negotiation experience.
• In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems, security, access systems, and related codes.
• Strong record keeping and documentation skills.
• Willingness to pass background checks and possess valid driver's license.
• Desirable NICET Level 1 certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand fire, life safety and security requirements and provide customized integrated systems solutions.
• Collaborate with contractors on bids and proposals aligned with project specs.
• Ensure integration of fire and security systems within project frameworks.
• Develop training resources for clients on operation and maintenance.
• Lead contract negotiations and maintain vendor relationships.
• Monitor sales metrics and forecast to meet targets.
