Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm/LV Installer.
• Able to follow specifications and standards required.
• Physically fit to perform demanding work including lifting.

Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm, voice/data, and security systems.
• Troubleshoot circuit opens and shorts.
• Complete necessary paperwork and keep drawings current.

Skills

Reading blueprints and technical drawings

Knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 72

Organizational skills

Communication skills

Ability to work under tight deadlines

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
