Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is hiring a Fire Alarm Installation Technician to independently perform core functions for installing fire alarm systems, including cabling, panels, mounting, and wiring, in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot after power-up, interpret blueprints and drawings, maintain safety standards, document service records, and travel to job sites as required. L6 or C6 license is strongly recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in the fire and life safety industry as alarm technician.
• L6 or C6 license strongly recommended.

Responsabilités

• Run cabling and conduit for interconnecting fire alarm equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues after power-up.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete installations.
• Ensure work complies with safety standards and company policies.
• Accurately complete service reports, documentation, and inspection records.
• Travel to job sites as required.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as an alarm technician
