Summit Fire & Security LLC seeks an experienced NICET I/II Certified Fire Alarm Test & Inspection Technician to support the Eugene–Salem corridor in Oregon. You will inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems with minimal supervision and ensure compliance with NFPA codes.

Preference given to those with NICET certification and 3–5 years of field experience. Travel across local area and regional assignments is required, and on-call work may be needed.

Competenze

• 3–5 years' experience inspecting fire protection systems.
• NICET and/or state certification required based on location.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; NICET certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems per NFPA codes and operate sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices, and critical components.
• Record and report deficiencies of fire protection systems to SFS and customers.
• Communicate with internal/external customers and offsite monitoring companies professionally.
• Proper use and operation of tools needed for inspection (detectors, backflow kit, pump equipment).
• Plan, coordinate, and complete inspections as scheduled in a timely manner.
• Be in on-call status as required by location to handle emergencies.
• Maintain company-provided vehicle and ensure tools are safeguarded.
• Follow SFS Safety program, SDS, Hazardous Communication program; participate in Toolbox talks.
• Attend seminars to stay current with technology and testing approaches.
• Train inspector trainees in applicable aspects of fire protection.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
