Job summary

Convergint is looking for a Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team in the United States. This full-time, enthusiastic role focuses on testing and inspecting fire-alarm systems across assigned buildings to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.

You will identify deficiencies, report findings, and coordinate with building owners or engineers. A valid driver’s license and at least 1 year in field service or customer service are required; benefits include holidays, life insurance, and 401K.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year relevant field service or customer service.
• Experience in electronics, fire alarm & life safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
• Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
• Monitor the fire-alarm panel.
• Interact with building owner or engineer before, during, and after testing.
• Review reports and determine next steps as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested.
