Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team in Oregon. You will test and inspect fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings, identifying deficiencies and reporting them to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

This is a customer-facing role focused on quality assurance and on-site service. You will monitor fire-alarm panels, interact with building personnel, and follow safety policies while contributing to a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent education or experience.
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year of relevant field service or customer service experience.
  • Certifications & Licenses: None required.

Responsibilities

  • Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
  • Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
  • Monitor the fire-alarm panel.
  • Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during, and following completion of the testing process.
  • Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven Fire Alarm Inspector to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will assist with the testing and inspection of fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings. You will help to identify and report any problems or deficiencies found in the systems you inspect. This is a customer-facing role, one that is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects. Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent education or experience.
Minimum Experience: 1 years of relevant field service or customer service experience.
Preferred Experience (but not required):

  • Experience in one or more of the following industries: electronics, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.
  • Certifications & Licenses: None required.
