Job summary

SuperHero Fire Protection, LLC. is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician/Inspector to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA. You will inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure reliable operation when it matters most.

You will document results, communicate findings to stakeholders, and stay current with NFPA codes and local regulations while collaborating with contractors and building personnel for repairs and installations.

Qualifications

• Experience as Fire Alarm Technician or Inspector or similar role.
• Knowledge of fire alarm testing and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to document inspection results clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and tests of fire alarm systems, including visual inspections, functional testing, and sensitivity testing.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of fire alarm equipment, identify and troubleshoot issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Verify and document system functionality and ensure NFPA code compliance and local regulations.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintenance records for documentation purposes.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to building owners, property managers, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors and technicians to schedule repairs and installations.
• Provide training and support to building personnel on proper operation of fire alarm systems.
• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and advancements related to fire alarm systems.
