Job summary

Siemens is seeking Fire Inspectors to conduct tests, inspections, and minor repairs on fire alarm systems in the Lakewood/Denver area. This role includes mentoring entry-level inspectors and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will maintain documentation, generate reports, and train customer personnel on proper operation and routine inspections. Overtime, on-call duties, and driving are involved as part of a dynamic, field-based team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience performing ITM of Fire Alarm/Fire Life Safety systems.
• Willing to work on-call rotation and overtime as needed.
• Able to work in varied environments around mechanical/electrical equipment, climb ladders, and move up to 75 pounds.
• Must differentiate wire types/colors.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver's license and eligible for Siemens fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain inspection schedules, perform inspection, testing, and minor service/deficiency repairs for fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 and local codes.
• Maintain complete documentation of tests; generate reports in Siemens tools and upload to city municipality websites.
• Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding operation and routine inspections; assist with training.
