Job summary

Siemens is recruiting Fire Inspectors to support our Sandy, UT operations. You will inspect, test, and perform minor repairs on fire alarm systems, while mentoring entry level inspectors and ensuring compliance with NFPA72 and local codes.

You will document activities, generate reports, and communicate with customers on deficiencies and remedies, with opportunities to grow and receive training within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing ITM of Fire Alarm and/or Fire Life Safety Systems.
• Utah Fire Alarm Technician certification or NICET II Fire Alarm certification.
• If you hold the Fire Alarm Technician certification but have no NICET, you must obtain NICET II within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain inspection schedules for fire alarm equipment to NFPA72 standards and local codes.
• Document tests and generate reports in Siemens tools; upload to city portals.
• Provide operation training to customer personnel and assist with training.
