Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Fire Inspector for our Maryland Heights, MO area to inspect and test fire alarm systems, repair minor faults, and ensure NFPA72 compliance. This role supports public safety and building protection across customer sites in the greater St. Louis area.

You will document results, generate reports, review deficiencies with customers, and assist with training. Candidates should have electro-mechanical experience and be able to obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical systems and fire safety equipment.
• Able to work in varied environments around mechanical/electrical gear.
• Must differentiate wire colors accurately and safely.
• NICET Fire Alarm Certification to be obtained within 12 months.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follow inspection schedules, test fire alarm equipment for NFPA72 compliance and local codes.
• Note deficiencies, remedies, and review pricing with customers.
• Complete service ticket documentation before leaving site.
• Follow up on corrective actions and keep accurate records.
• Generate and upload reports to city municipalities using Siemens tools.
• Provide operation instructions and assist with training for customer staff.
