Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Fire Inspection Technician to conduct testing and inspection of fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings and report any issues found. You will work to maximize customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all projects.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year relevant field service or customer service.
• Preferred Experience: electronics, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
• Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
• Monitor the fire-alarm panel.
• Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during, and following completion of the testing process.
• Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
