M-Team Solutions in Southeast Michigan is seeking a dependable Fire Alarm Inspector to perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems in commercial, healthcare, and educational facilities.

The inspector ensures systems meet NFPA 72 and local codes, reads electrical drawings, traces circuits, and documents results. Work is field-based, on-site with customers, requiring strong communication and the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Competenze

• Experience in fire alarm inspection, testing, installation, or service preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and fire codes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Perform routine, scheduled, and annual inspections and testing of fire alarm systems per NFPA 72 and local codes.
• Inspect and verify operation of control panels, initiating devices, and notification appliances.
• Test smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, and duct detectors.
• Verify circuits, batteries, power supplies, and communications pathways.
• Identify and document deficiencies and code-related issues.
• Use electronic meters and diagnostic gear to troubleshoot issues.
