Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an Associate Fire Alarm Inspector to assist with inspection and maintenance capabilities, working with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure our customers’ systems are inspected and maintained in a code-compliant manner.

This role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. A high school diploma is required, with a path to NFPA knowledge and OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in learning and growing in the fire-life safety industry.
• Knowledge of NFPA code requirements.
• OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain).
• Good organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Physically fit to perform demanding work, including lifting up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing system layouts and coordinating with systems and service departments for testing and inspection.
• Assist with testing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Assist with delivering testing on schedule and within cost budgets.
• Responsible for logging and transmitting inspection reports via technical device.
• Work under tight deadlines and comply with safety standards.
