What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform fire protection inspections and preventive maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
- Communicate technical information effectively to clients.
- Complete and submit all required documentation promptly.
- Train less senior inspectors on inspection schedules.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by interacting respectfully with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management.
- Additional duties or projects may be assigned as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
- Ability to obtain a security industry license as per state regulations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Obtain NICET level certification within a prescribed time frame.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in inspections and fire alarm systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of fire and electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operation documents.
- Problem-solving skills in standardized situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
