Job summary

State Systems, Inc. is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspection Technician in North Little Rock. You will inspect fire alarm systems, perform testing, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and company procedures. You will document findings and communicate with the inspections admin team to keep projects on track.

The role requires 1–2 years of testing/inspection experience, licensing is preferred or obtainable within 6 months, and a customer‑service mindset to interact with clients and coordinators.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years testing/inspection experience preferred.
• Licensing in fire alarm or sprinkler is a plus, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• NICET I/II in Alarm Systems or Inspection/Testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fire alarm systems for NFPA compliance and reliability.
• Record findings and complete inspection reports using company software.
• Collaborate with team and customers to schedule and resolve issues.
• Test smoke/heat detectors, pull stations, and related components.
• Troubleshoot electrical/communication issues on-site.
