State Systems, Inc. in Lowell, AR is hiring a Fire Alarm Technician to install, program, and service fire alarm and low voltage systems. You will perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure life-safety reliability.

The role requires 1+ year of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and knowledge of NFPA 72. Arkansas Low Voltage License is preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, with physical capability for lifting and ladder work.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in fire alarm or low voltage systems
• Familiar with NFPA 72 and related codes preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions
• Arkansas Low Voltage License preferred

Responsabilités

• Install, program, and service fire alarm and low voltage systems
• Perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems
• Complete fire alarm installation and service projects per NFPA 72 and company standards
• Test and inspect system components (smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations)
• Troubleshoot electrical and low voltage issues with diagnostic equipment
• Communicate job status and deficiencies to supervisors and customers
• Complete reports, logs, and inspection forms using company software
• Collaborate with team to solve problems and improve processes
• Maintain safety and compliance with electrical and fire codes
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
