Job summary

Advantage Fire in Winder, GA is seeking an entry-level Fire Alarm Helper to assist technicians with the installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. This role provides hands-on training and exposure to life safety systems while supporting safe, efficient field work.

You will help with wiring, devices, and equipment, while following project instructions, drawings and safety procedures. Prior construction or electrical experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required or preferred.
  • Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to obtain required licenses or certifications (as applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Assist technicians with installation of fire alarm devices, wiring, conduit, and equipment.
  • Support testing and inspection of fire alarm systems under supervision.
  • Help identify and document deficiencies discovered during service or inspections.
  • Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site in accordance with safety standards.

# Fire Alarm HelperAdvantage - Winder, GA 30680## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## Fire Alarm Helper**Summary**Responsible for assisting fire alarm technicians with the installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems; this entry-level role provides hands-on training and exposure to fire alarm systems while supporting safe, efficient, and code-compliant work in the field.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following.
