Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking an entry-level Fire Alarm Service Support Technician in the United States. The role provides hands-on training and exposure to fire alarm systems under the direct supervision of experienced technicians, assisting with inspections, testing, maintenance, and basic service tasks.

This position does not operate independently but offers a path to grow in the fire protection industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior industry experience required.
• Ability to learn technical skills and follow instructions.
• Must be able to work under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with service and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Support basic troubleshooting activities under direct supervision.
• Handle tools, materials, and equipment required for service jobs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Learn and apply industry standards, codes, and best practices.
• Accurately complete basic documentation as directed by supervisor.
• Travel to job sites as required with assigned team members.

The technician will assist with inspections, testing, maintenance, and basic service tasks while developing foundational skills in the fire protection industry.
