Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems in Jacksonville, FL seeks an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Inspections Technician to perform scheduled inspections, testing, and repairs of commercial fire alarm systems across Northeast Florida. Strong documentation and customer service are essential to coordinate with AHJs and monitoring centers.

You will travel to job sites, participate in on-call rotation, ensure compliance with NFPA 72, Florida Fire Prevention Code, and manufacturer requirements, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience servicing, inspecting, and testing commercial fire alarm systems.
• Current Florida Fire Alarm System Agent (FASA) qualification preferred; otherwise must complete board-approved training and FDLE background check within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspection and testing of fire alarm systems per NFPA 72 and applicable codes.
• Diagnose faults and perform or recommend repairs; document results and actions.
• Service, maintain, program, and repair fire alarm control panels, devices, and power supplies.
