Job summary

Alert Alarm Hawaii is seeking an Inspection Technician to install, service, test, inspect, and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems across an assigned territory. You will follow plans and codes, communicate with customers, and document all work.

Responsibilities include startup, testing, and commissioning of systems, handling service calls, and ensuring quality workmanship. Travel and on-site problem solving are essential, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with fire alarm, fire protection, or low-voltage systems preferred.
• Ability to read plans and electrical diagrams.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Ability to lift and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Read plans and wiring diagrams to perform work.
• Coordinate system testing and document results.
• Complete service tickets and closeout documentation.
• Travel to customer sites within assigned territory.
