Qualifications

• Working knowledge of low voltage systems
• Two years AutoCAD experience preferred
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to legally work in the United States
• Drug screening required
• Basic understanding of security concepts, IP video
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and relay logic
• Proficient AutoCAD drafting for Everon products
• Knowledge of Everon product lines

Responsibilities

• Interpret project specs and drawings to determine system layout
• Create background floor plans in AutoCAD from floor plans
• Perform takeoffs and prepare counts of equipment and devices
• Support local sales with pre-sale design and estimating
• Lead post-sale system design including equipment choices
• Monitor and improve documentation and coordination between teams
• Resolve questions and problems raised by customers
• Review plans/specs prepared by outside firms
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Collaborate with drafters, designers and engineers
