Job summary

Everon is seeking a System Designer II to lead the design, drawing, and technology evaluation for life safety projects. You will work with Sales and Operations as the technical advisor, ensuring code-compliant layouts and optimal product mixes for diverse building types.

You will manage complex design workloads, adapt to project scope changes, and travel up to 10% as needed. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and schematics is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• NICET II certification required; higher levels preferred.
• Experience designing fire alarm and life safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Design Everon Fire Alarm and Life Safety Systems per codes and standards.
• Prepare system layouts, scope of work, and product selections.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to ensure accurate estimates and layouts.
• Produce as-built documentation and redesign/estimates as required.
• Travel up to 10% for training or project needs.
