Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Fire Alarm Design Engineer / Estimator in Tampa, FL for mid-level professionals to support design, estimating and preconstruction on commercial fire alarm projects.

You will work from plans to handoff, using AutoCAD and Bluebeam, with NFPA standards knowledge, and enjoy a benefits package, PTO, and a company vehicle allowance.

Qualifications

• Fire Alarm Design and/or Estimating experience required.
• Knowledge of NFPA Standards and applicable Fire Alarm Codes.
• Experience with blueprint/specification review and takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from initial plans through estimating, design, and handoff.
• Design, Estimating and Preconstruction involvement for commercial fire alarm systems.

Job Details

We are seeking a Fire Alarm professional with experience in Design, Estimating, and Preconstruction. This position will support projects from initial plans and specifications through estimating, design, and project handoff.

Must Have:

• Fire Alarm Design and/or Estimating experience
• AutoCAD
• Bluebeam
• Quantity Takeoffs and Bills of Materials
• Blueprint and Specification Review
• Knowledge of NFPA Standards and applicable Fire Alarm Codes
• Commercial Fire Alarm experience

Nice To Have:

• NICET Certification
• Fire Alarm Inspection or field experience
• Mission Critical experience
• Low Voltage Systems experience
