SSD Alarm in Anaheim, CA is hiring a Fire Systems Drafter. You will interpret project specs with Sales and Project Managers to determine system layout and create submittal documents using AutoCAD.

The role requires 1 year of AutoCAD experience, strong drawing accuracy, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of AutoCAD experience.
• Read blueprints and coordinate drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid and clean driver's license.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and AutoCAD.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Interpret project specs and drawings with Sales, Project Managers and Technical staff to determine system layout.
• Create Access Control & Fire Alarm submittal documents and record drawings using AutoCAD and MS Office software.
• Maintain professional, neat, error-free work with attention to detail.
• Review drawings to ensure completeness and accuracy of work performed.
• Understand and follow company-drafting procedures.
• Stay current with technologies offered by the company and engage in personal development.
• Promote team environment and assist other Design Engineers and staff with projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
